Vision

Our vision is a transformational tourism, employment, and housing experience for the Central Coast which celebrates the natural beauty of the region and provides a new opportunity for this special place that our community can be proud of and visitors can enjoy.

We are excited to explore opportunities that complement the values associated with the bushland character of the area, as well as supporting the long-term economic prosperity of the region through jobs creation and tourism.

We have engaged with members of the community and stakeholders to inform WCTV’s proposal, more information can be found on the Engagement page.

The WCTV vision  is outlined in the master plan for the site. The master plan follows on from consultation and engagement with the community and outlines a diverse range of offerings for the local community, families and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

Where are we in the process?

Consultation with key stakeholders and the community has been undertaken as plans have progressed.

A draft planning proposal has been lodged with Central Coast Council and seeks to amend zoning controls to enable a mixed-use development like World Village.

Should the Planning Proposal be endorsed by Council to proceed to the NSW Government’s Gateway process, the proposal would be placed on public exhibition for further community consultation.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact the community engagement team.

This website will be updated regularly as the project progresses.
